…several changes and urgent notices about shipping:

1. Shipping schedules change with the seasons and holidays, so check with the store. We ship out as soon as we get orders. We’re sure you’re familiar with the shipping companies and their rising costs.  It’s going to impact your gifts as well.  We want to make sure your recipients and you,  get your gifts in time.  We don’t want your order to be sitting on a hot truck. A typical question we get is a concern about freshness.  We understand, and our chocolates are made fresh daily, and your candies will still look and taste good 6-8 weeks even if ordered early (assuming you don’t leave them by a heat source, in direct sunlight, or changing temperatures).
2. We ship second day a.m.and costs between $60-$80, plus $12 for a chill box during warmer months.  Overnight shipping is only abailable via FedEx and is generally over $100..

2. Our chill boxes are now $12. These are packing materials required for every order going to a hot climate (typically CA, FL, NV, AZ), and used during the warmer months on the east coast.  Chill boxes protect the integrity of the chocolate and the presentation.

3. We are no longer responsible for shipping deliveries. UPS and FedEx have halted their money back guarantee. We are happy to ship overnight utilizing FedEx (over $88-$125), which is a lot safer than the 2nd day morning delivery, but that too is not guaranteed. Once the candy is properly packed, labeled and picked up, we are not responsible for the package once it leaves our store! We pack our shipping boxes well to ensure you or your recipient receives the order just as it left our store, however, most damage occurs in shipping, late deliveries, melted chocolate, etc.

4. Double check all addresses, and include residential or business info. If the package is going to a multi-tennat building such as a business building (or a specific person in that building), ensure that ALL PROPER address elements such as floor, suite, unit, room #, etc is included.  That missing information will cause delays, improper delivery, melted chocolate etc. This applies to college dorms and apartment buildings as well. It’s critical that you have the correct shipping address!

5. Corporate and large orders must be submitted early. We are already experiencing huge volumes this year. All rush orders will incur an additional charges. Call us now to create your holiday gift orders: 609-823-6501.

If we confirm the address with you and a shipping issue occurs because ANY of the address information is incorrect, you will incur additional charges to correct the errors and have the package re-directed to the right location. Charges from the shipping companies can be steep.  So please, double check.

While we understand your package may be a surprise for someone, please inform them that you’ve shipped something special and they should be on the look out for it and to ask / alert the delivery receipt area if available.
